Joe B. Benintende former Director of Production and Promoter for Live Nation Entertainment and Verizon Wireless Music Center, formerly Oak Mountain Amphitheatre has just released his bands first self titled CD, BENin10D. Joe's alter ego BEN with his band 10D are local guys, all professional writers and musicians. www.BENin10D.com as well as www.MySpace.com/joebenintende are the major homes for BENin10D on the web.

The CD BENin10D has suprisingly blown out the doors from the start of it's release. Several of these singles have been named finalist in the VH1 Song of The Year Competition - 2008 and 3 of the singles have been awarded The Platinum Auddy Award from Uplaya.com, a proven music software that detects hit songs through software programming as seen on CNN and MSNBC. These songs have been recorded in a very simple fashion with an acoustic guitars and vocals only, with the hopes on gaining the attention of major producers for use with other national artists recording projects. However, unexpectedly, these singles are catching on as hits on their own. They have been found in the Top 10 charts for Alternative Country and Acoustic genres with Sound Click a major music site, often used by professionals in rating their own music.

Some of you may remember the song AMERICA from 9/11 and 9/14 when (Joe B.) BEN was asked to perform this song at the very last minute by the Governor to 7000 people live and broadcast live to 10 million viewers world wide through CNN at the Presidents National Day Of Prayer ceremony at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre. BENin10D desires to use this song to raise money for the troops and/or the troops families only with no profit. Several ideas are being investigated by BENin10D's publicist in Los Angeles for now. Even though you have not seen BENin10D in many bars or lounges, this band has certainly been a major part of Birmingham for a long time and is extremely honored to be nominated for top local band in Birmingham.
